‘An Espresso with…’ is an ongoing series of interviews with artists, art professionals and writers by international arts journalist Romina Provenzi These shorter, more informal exchanges capture the spontaneous insights and personal stories that emerge in casual settings, complementing my in-depth approach to magazine interviews with immediate, authentic moments of connection.
The title refers to an espresso, a type of coffee, because it is the most popular in Italy, where I come from. An espresso is a concentrated shot of coffee, each different from the others in flavour but always intense and quick to drink, similar to the interviews for ‘An Espresso with…’. For this series, I keep the writing concise enough to give a glimpse into the work and enter the world of those who trusted me, allowing a conversation to unfold.
