Blue 'n' White

In 2008, I attended a residency at the Jingdezhen Pottery Workshop and Experimental Sculpture Factory, China the Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen.
Upon my return I have expanded my passion for ceramics history with an exploration of the depiction of landscape, particularly mountains in Chinese painting, I began to use porcelain and I embraced cobalt oxide and its majestic blue tonal qualities.
