Blackware Firing

An ancient process of using combustible materials as fuel and a slow gentle burn. In this instance I use post-wood working sawdust and shavings from European Timber Windows manufacturing. No energy is used in this firing and the agency of the carbon has its own will and is always a poetic trace of this action.
